About the job

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving growth within the company. The Senior Business Development Manager will focus on increasing COEL’s presence in Oxfordshire, Milton Keynes, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, and Hertfordshire. Do you have experience in the construction and fit-out industry and connections in Oxfordshire? Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for generating new business? If so, we want to hear from you! About you: The ideal candidate will have a proven background in business development, including past success in developing new business opportunities and an established network of contacts to enable them to hit the ground running. With strong planning and organisational skills, the Senior Business Development Manager must have previous experience working in a professional services environment and a commercial fit-out company while maintaining relationships with external clients at all levels. From a CRM perspective, the Senior Business Development Manager will support the process of selecting target clients and tracking them across the business, including rolling out targeting initiatives for core areas and identifying opportunities for local business development. Key Responsibilities: • Identify and nurture new business opportunities to generate leads. • Manage and qualify inbound leads in your region. • Monitor market trends and competitor activity. • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners. • Develop and implement strategic business development plans. • Work closely with the Marketing team to develop target lists. • Attend networking events and meetings to build local profile of COEL. • Report on BD activities including contacts, meetings, leads.
