Volunteer - Resource Distribution

Working primarily in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, Equation is a specialist charity with expertise to work with the whole community to reduce the impact of domestic abuse, sexual violence and gender inequality.  We ensure survivors get the most effective support to create space for action by facilitating a coordinated approach across the sector and providing practical tools and guidance to support survivors.  We also work to prevent domestic abuse and sexual violence by raising awareness and educating people about equal and healthy relationships.  

Flexible – hours to suit the individual  Equation is looking for several volunteers to support the distribution of domestic abuse and sexual violence awareness resources. This flexible role can be carried out either at home or in Equation’s office.     About the role   In this role you will be responsible for packing high volumes of our Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence resources ready for circulation into the community. The role can either be completed at Equation’s office at Castle Cavendish Works, Radford, or the items can be taken home, and packed remotely. If you would like to support in the office, you’ll work alongside our passionate, welcoming and friendly team committed to equality and our mission for everyone to have equal relationships free from abuse, you may also gain some office skills processing orders received via our website. This role requires no previous experience and offers lots of flexibility. We’re looking for self-motivating individuals with a passion for raising awareness about domestic abuse and sexual violence in our local community. You should be available to start ASAP. Full training will be provided.   Salary/Pay:   This is a voluntary role and therefore there is no salary. Any accrued expenses will be reimbursed. Hours:  We are looking for individuals who can commit to working a minimum of 2 hours a week. Hours can be worked flexibly to suit your schedule.
