We are looking for an experienced Senior Oracle Cloud HCM Consultant, to join our delivery team in a client facing role. You will be joining our talented delivery team and working on exciting projects across our broad client base.

The Role
You must be skilled in one or more of the following Oracle Cloud modules to be considered for this role:
• Oracle Global Human Resources
• Oracle Talent and Performance Management
• Oracle Recruiting Cloud
• Oracle Learning Cloud
• Oracle Workforce Compensation
• Oracle Time and Labor
• Oracle Absence Management
Location & Commitments
• Permanent contract
• Full-time, 37.5 Hours
• Location: Hybrid working, but dependent upon where you live, you will have a base location at our head office in Langstone, Wales or at our satellite office in Guildford, Surrey
• Travel will be required to our offices and client sites, UK wide and potentially overseas; if you are successful for this position you will be expected to travel as necessary, which may include overnight stays away from your home location
• Standard Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) including Disclosure Barring Scotland (DBS) is a minimum requirement for all roles. This will be completed as part of pre-employment checks by de Novo’s third party supplier Credence.

Skills & Experience (Essential)
• Engage with customers on HCM transformation / change programmes
• Operate independently to provide qualify work products
• Apply your judgement to implement solutions to meet customer needs
• Influence customer leadership to adopt the Oracle Cloud solution
• Participate in business development opportunities
• Lead the implementation of Oracle HCM modules including process design, the implementation lifecycle, and post go-live support
• Supervise and develop junior members of the team, including our Apprentice and Graduate intake
• Quality assure the work of junior colleagues
• Develop and support de Novo products
• Be familiar with working with Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid methodologies
• Be a team player to quickly develop a rapport with customers and colleagues alike
• Have 4-5+ years functional consulting experience with experience of full project lifecycle
• Have Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation experience
• Ability to communicate clearly
• Human Resources business experience preferred
Skills & Experience (Desirable)
• Oracle HCM certifications desirable or a willingness to obtain certification
• An understanding of the key business issues/drivers that result in clients pursuing transformation programmes
• Experience of multiple industry sectors (Local and Central Government is a plus)
• Experience of operating and implementing in a cloud environment and understanding the impacts of implementing and operating on the cloud versus on premise
Remuneration & Benefits
This varies accordingly to role, but generally the package consists of:
• Basic salary
• Eligibility to enrol into the Company auto-enrolment pension scheme (within 3 months of commencing employment). The Company will contribute 3% (5% from December 2023) based upon gross salary only; your contributions will be based upon UK government legislation
• Annual leave entitlement of 25 days per annum plus Bank Holidays. Our holiday year runs in line with our accounting period from 1st June to 31st May
• Eligibility to participate in the employee utilisation scheme. You could earn up to an additional 10% of your gross basic salary per annum paid over three instalments across the preceding financial year (The Employee Utilisation Scheme is non-contractual and may be subject to change or removal at the sole discretion of the Directors. Further information on how you have opportunity to potentially achieve these earnings will be discussed once you have joined the Company and objectives and targets have been set)
• Death in Service Benefit (effective from 2024)
• Internal recruitment initiative - £3K reward per experience hire after 6 months’ successful probation period; £1K reward per apprentice/graduate hire after 6 months’ successful probation period
• Certified training in both ServiceNow and Oracle Cloud
• Paid expenses outside your base location, as per company policy
